But in spirit, trust us, they stand right next to you.
What makes a family is the bond you share.
That bond exists whether they are here or there.
Feel sorry if you must, but your sorrow is in vain.
Your loved ones are not gone when in your heart they do remain.
“Connected at the heart” is more than just a phrase.
It’s a link that bonds you for all days.
Love never dies. Love is that binding link.
Those who’ve passed are far closer than you think.

How true. Yes there are a lot of loved ones missing from the actual table but the love from them that surrounds the family seated is like a physical presence on its own. Enjoy what you have and take comfort that your loved ones missing only in physical form are happy
